What is Clutch?

Clutch is a system that allows gear changes in automobiles. It enables the gear change to be made by cutting the connection between the gearbox and the engine. At the same time, the part between the engine and the transmission is called the clutch. The clutch ensures that the vehicle starts smoothly.

How the Clutch Works

The system in question establishes the connection between the pad, the engine and the wheels. The lining is a rough surface. Therefore, it appears as a disc-shaped part with high friction feature. When pressed on a surface, it moves with the surface and fully grasps the surface. This system is the system that creates the clutch.

While the clutch system works with the clutch cable in old model cars, it works with hydraulic fluid and center in new model cars.

Clutch Maintenance

For the maintenance of the clutch, you must first apply to the skilled craftsmen. Because the parts used in the clutch are directly related to driving safety. At the same time, the quality of the parts used is also very important.

Even if all the thrust pad and bearing parts in the clutch system are not damaged, it is best to replace all of them. Because only the change of the pad and the fact that the pressure system remains the same are among the factors that shorten the life of the pad.
