It was founded in 1884 by Giovanni Landini. It is a company that produces agricultural machinery. Its headquarters is in Italy. In our factory, exhaust parts are produced with superior quality in accordance with this brand.

History of Landini

In 1925, the first authentic Italian tractor with 30 horsepower was produced. At the same time, this tractor was the pioneer of the 40 and 50 horsepower models called Super, Velite and Buffalo, which would be produced in the mid-1930s.

The first production tractors were powered by a two-stroke single-cylinder engine. At the same time, this engine has 40 horsepower. Landini continued to manufacture tractors with semi-diesel engines until 1957.

In 1959, Landini produced its first crawler tractor, the C35. The company was subsequently acquired by Massey Ferguson.

In 1973, the 500 Series 2- and 4-wheel tractors were introduced to the market. Then, in 1980, work on vineyard tractors started. In 1986, the first vineyard tractor was put on the market.

In 1989, 66% of Landini was sold by Massey Ferguson. The acquiring company is ARGO SpA. With the acquisition of Massey Ferguson by AGCO in 1994, ARGO acquired a greater stake in Landini that year.

In 2000, 9% of Landini, owned by AGCO, was purchased by ARGO.

Agricultural machinery brands produced or distributed by ARGO are as follows:

  • Laverda
  • Valpadana
  • S.E.P.
  • Landini
  • Pegoraro
  • McCormick

What is Exhaust?

Exhaust is a part designed to prevent noise pollution. It ensures that the gas left by the explosion of the air and fuel mixture in the internal combustion engines is discharged out of the engine by absorbing the sound. At the same time, the exhaust system also ensures that the waste gas is discharged regularly.

Exhaust parts are produced in our factory in accordance with the Landini brand.

This system consists of several parts. The parts that make up the exhaust are as follows:

  • Exhaust Pipes: It is divided into three parts as front, center and tail. They are parts made of steel. The volume of the pipe is designed to be twice the volume of the engine cylinder in order to better discharge the gases coming out of the cylinder.
  • Outer Housing: It is the part that forms the outer structure of the exhaust.
  • Catalytic Converter: It ensures that harmful gases become harmless by chemical reaction.
  • Honeycombs: It is a type of converter. It has the ability to increase the properties of catalysts 700 times.
  • Exhaust Manifold: It is a part designed to allow the burning gas to be thrown out as quickly as possible.
  • Silencer: It is the part that helps to reduce the noise. It allows the gas to discharge slowly. The exhaust gases first pass through the exhaust manifold, then through the exhaust pipe and finally through the muffler.

What is the Working Principle of Exhaust?

First of all, it should be noted that the higher the speed of the vehicle, the louder the sound coming out of the engine.

The working principle of the exhaust system is as follows:

  • The sound produced by the running engine firstly enters the exhaust from the inlet pipe.
  • Loud sound / noise coming from the exhaust pipe is transmitted to the muffler.
  • Sounds coming to the muffler overlap each other and therefore lower each other's decibels.
  • Also, sound waves entering the pipe enter through hundreds of small holes and exit through hundreds of small holes.

Noises cannot be completely eliminated, but are reduced as much as possible. In this way, the sound of the exhaust decreases to a level that does not disturb people.
