What is a Ventilation System?

It is the system ventilation system that ensures the cleaning of harmful gases inside the vehicle cabin and thus helps to protect the health of the passengers.

What Are the Parts of the Ventilation System?

The parts of the ventilation system are as follows:

Air Direction Valve Motors

It allows the air to be taken from the outside directly into the cabin. At the same time, it distributes the air inside the vehicle to different parts of the vehicle, either hot or cold.

Blowers

All vehicles have these parts. The blowers are the final point where the air produced in the ventilation is distributed inside the vehicle. It ensures that the produced air is distributed in the vehicle at specified angles. If desired, the air flow can be increased, decreased or completely cut off by controlling it.

Since the blowers are exposed to hot and cold air currents, they must be made of durable plastic material. In this way, they do not lose their properties in temperature changes.

Ventilation / Heating Control Panel

The buttons on the ventilation / heating control panel perform different tasks.

  • Air intake button: Allows the outside air to be taken into the vehicle.
  • Temperature adjustment button: It is the button that adjusts the temperature of the air to be supplied into the cabin.
  • Air distributor button: It allows the air in the cabin to move in the desired direction.
  • Horizontal adjustment button: It is the control button that adjusts the temperature or the coldness of the air to be supplied into the cabin.
  • Rear window demisting button: It enables the resistance on the rear window to be operated.
  • Fresh air circulation button: It provides the exchange of air inside the vehicle. It can be used after the engine is started. But it can also be run without any time constraints. In this way, it provides better cooling at high temperatures.

Air Direction Channels

The air produced in the ventilation system is taken into the vehicle or distributed through the ducts.

Cabin Distribution Channels

Air is distributed to the following sections with the distribution channels included in the cabinet:

  • Front part,
  • Lower parts of the vehicle,
  • To the sides,
  • Defrost outlet for demisting of windshields
