Zetor has been officially known as Zetor Tractors since January 1, 2007. It appears as a Czech Republic-based agricultural machinery manufacturer. Hydraulic parts are produced in accordance with this brand in our factory.
Zetor was founded in 1946. The company is headquartered in Brno, Czech Republic. It is a company that manufactures tractors and tractor components. Zetor is also the first manufacturer to develop and produce tractor safety cabins. HTC Holding has been its sole shareholder since 29 June 2022.
It has sold over 1.3 million tractors to date. The product portfolio consists of six model series with power outputs ranging from 40 to 160 hp.
The brand in question is represented abroad by seven organizations in North America, Poland, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Slovakia and also in India. In 2015, the company directed 86% of its total production abroad. It exports its products to France, England and Ireland as well as traditional markets such as Slovakia, Germany and Poland.
These are the models introduced in the first quarter of 2018. These new tractors are smaller and lighter at the same time. It has four-cylinder engines with power outputs between 43 and 67 hp (32 and 50 kW).
The Forterra series is produced for heavy-duty use in agriculture and forestry. That is why they are tractors equipped with four-cylinder engines. The first models were introduced to the market in 2008.
The Crystal model was launched in 2015. This model of Zetor, which did not produce a six-cylinder tractor for a long time, is a six-cylinder model. It has a power output of 144 to 163 hp (107 – 122 kW). The transmission has 30 forward and 30 reverse gears. The engines are equipped with 24-valves and trap fuel injection.
The Major series is a model released in early 2002. They are tractors with a power output of 80 horsepower (60 kW). It is a fairly simple model. It has even been appreciated for its reliability and low operating costs.
The Proxima series is a model that was introduced to the market in 2004. Zetor is considered as a universal agricultural tractor using four-cylinder engines. It is mostly used in farming and forestry areas.

Hydraulics began to be widely used in machine manufacturing and industrial applications in the second half of the 20th century. This is because it transmits forces and movements more easily and efficiently than friction systems.
The hydraulic system consists of elements that operate a mechanism with the transmission of pressurized fluid power. Today, hydraulic systems are frequently encountered in automobiles.
The pump in the system absorbs the oil from the tank and sends it to the system with effective pressure. Then, if the pressure is higher than the desired value, it returns to the tank. In this way, the system works safely. Then the oil is sent to the directional control valve by the pump. Then it is directed to user elements such as cylinder, engine. As a result, the relevant machine works thanks to the oil flow rate and pressure.
Fluid substances are not compressible substances. Therefore, being incompressible, hydraulic systems provide great forces to be obtained. Since air and also gases are compressible materials, they are not preferred for generating large forces.
