Başak Tractor was established in Adapazarı in 1914. Today, it produces within the body of Sanko Holding. It has a production capacity of 10 tractors per year. At the same time, the main parts of the tractor, including the engine, are produced and assembled. Clutch parts are produced in accordance with the Başak brand in our factory.
Başak Tractor is a tractor manufacturer company within Sanko Holding. Its factory is in Sakarya. It was established in 1914 as Demir Araba - Wooden Car factory in Adapazarı. In 1944, it was affiliated to the Turkish Agricultural Equipment Corporation Joint Stock Company. After joining this company, it continued to produce agricultural machinery and tools under the name Sakarya Alat-ı Zıraiye.
Başak Tractor started to serve by importing Ford tractors in 1962. After 1968, it started to produce parts in addition to imports in its factory in Adapazarı. As a result, it reached 65% domestic tractor production.
Başak Tractor, which signed a 10-year license agreement with the Australian Steyr company in 1979, continued the production made with the license agreement until 1996. After 1996, it continued its production using its logo and brand. Therefore, the factory, which was established in 1914, took its current name in 1996.
T.R. The Privatization Administration put the Başak Tractor factory up for sale in 2003. After this sale, the factory was handed over to Başak Tractor İş ve Tarım Makineleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. In 2012, it was sold to Sanko Holding.
Başak Tractor, which made its first export in 2001, continues to export since 2007.
While the annual production was 400 units in 2013, the annual production was increased to 3500 units in 2015.

The clutch is the system that transmits the thrust from the engine to the wheels in vehicles with manual transmission. This system ensures efficient use of the engine's thrust. When the vehicle reaches a certain rpm level while driving, gear changes can be made thanks to the clutch.
The clutch system works by taking advantage of the friction force. It is also a gear system. When the car is started, the pressure and pad are activated. There is a ball between these two parts. When the clutch is pressed, the pad is wasted by the pressure applied by the ball to the pressure. In this way, the gear lever is moved. Therefore, gear change is made by this system.
