TÜMOSAN | Clutch

Established in 1976, this factory is Turkey's first domestic tractor factory. In addition, since 2004, it has been operating under Albayrak Holding. It produces tractors and also engines. Clutch parts are produced in our factory in accordance with the Tümosan brand.

Tümosan

It stands for Turkish Motor Industry and Trade Joint Stock Company. Founded on June 26, 1975, this factory was privatized in 2004. It was established based in Ankara. At the same time, its two big shareholders are the Machinery and Chemical Industry Corporation and the Development Bank of Turkey. Tümosan is Turkey's first domestic tractor factory.

The brand in question started production with the license of Fiat Industry. In addition, the license agreement continued until 1988. Afterwards, production continued using completely domestic technology. Tractor and diesel engine production facilities are located in Konya.

The establishment purpose of Tümosan is to produce domestic tractors, truck engines, tractor engines as well as minibus engines by making know-how agreements. In this direction, some licenses were obtained and started to operate. These licenses are;

• Mitsubishi license in Düzce to manufacture pickup truck – minibus engines
• Fiat license in Konya to manufacture tractors and tractor engines
• Daimler Benz and Volvo license in Aksaray to produce truck engines

Tumosan Tractor Models

Tractor series belonging to Tümosan are as follows;

52L Series

It is a garden tractor with high traction performance and low fuel consumption. 3 and 4 cylinder turbo intercooler offers engine options in the range of 65 – 95 horsepower. The models in the series are as follows:

• 52.90L
• 52.70L
• 52.100L
• 52.80L

4000 Series

It has high traction performance with its 3-cylinder, 48 hp engine option. It also offers low fuel consumption. Models of the 4000 series;

• 4050

Tumosan 4200 Series

As in the 4000 Series, it offers high traction performance with its 3-cylinder and 48 hp engine option. It is also a garden tractor with low fuel consumption. Models of the series;

• 4250

Clutch parts are produced in our factory in accordance with the Tümosan brand.

What is Clutch?

In vehicles with manual transmission, the system that transmits the thrust from the engine to the wheels is called the clutch. This system ensures efficient use of the engine's thrust. When the vehicle reaches a certain rpm level while driving, gear changes can be made thanks to the clutch.

It is the most important feature that distinguishes cars with manual transmission from cars with automatic transmission. One of the factors that most affect the reason for choosing a vehicle when purchasing a vehicle is the automatic or manual transmission option. That is the presence of the clutch system.

Clutch Parts

The parts that make up the clutch system are as follows:

• Bearing
• Flywheel connected to the engine
• Clutch lining
• Clutch plate

Considerations in Clutch Usage

In order for the clutch system to be long-lasting, there are some points to be considered while using it. These;

• It should not be used except when needed.
• Care should be taken not to take off with half clutch on slopes.
• Avoid using the clutch pedal while braking.
• No shifting should be made between reverse gear and forward gear before the vehicle comes to a complete stop.
• Instead of waiting in the clutch and first gear at a red light, wait in neutral gear.
• Maintenance should be done regularly. Because the clutch system is a system that gets damaged over time.
• Continuous pressure should not be applied to the clutch. It should not be used except when needed.

If the clutch system is damaged, it must be replaced. In addition, you should make sure that the spare parts used in the replacement of the clutch are reliable and of high quality. In this way, you can use your vehicle more efficiently.
