Massey Ferguson was founded in 1847 by Daniel Massey in Newcastle, Ontario. It started its activities as an agricultural equipment repair shop in Canada. Its current structure was formed by its merger with Harry Ferguson Limited in 1953.

The drivetrain is the name given to the organs through which the engine transmits its power. It consists of 6 different parts.

• Shaft: It transfers the power generated in the engine and reaching the gearbox to the differential.

• Differential: It transmits the movement of the engine to the wheels and the movement from the gearbox to the axles.
• Axle: It is the part that transmits the movement from the differential to the wheels.
• Gear Box: The gearbox, which is located between the driveline, allows the speed and torque of the vehicle to be adjusted.

How Drivetrain Works?

The engine creates a power with the heat energy obtained from the fuel. This power is transferred to the gearbox via the clutch. The gearbox transmits the movement from the engine to the shaft, shaft to the differential, to the differential axle. Finally, the generated power is transmitted to the wheels by the axles. With this power transfer provided, the vehicle moves.
