MASSEY FERGUSON

Massey Ferguson was founded in Canada in 1847 as a manufacturer of farm equipment and also farm machinery. It is now a trademark of AGCO Corporation. Its headquarters is in the United States. Hydraulic parts are produced in our factory in accordance with the Massey Ferguson brand.

About Massey Ferguson

It was founded in 847 by Daniel Massey in Newcastle, Ontario. It started its activities as a small and at the same time simple agricultural equipment repair shop in Canada. Its current structure was formed in 1953 when it merged with Harry Ferguson Limited.

The most characteristic feature of tractors belonging to Massey Ferguson is that they are only red in color.

Massey Ferguson Agricultural Technology

Massey Ferguson also draws attention with its agricultural technology. The following are targeted with precision agriculture technologies:

  • Easy use of equipment,
  • More detailed analysis of studies,
  • Following the machines,
  • Efficient use of equipment,
  • Keeping costs under control.

Fuse

Fuse is digital farming technology operated by AGCO Corp. It is a globally open platform. Fuse supports AGCO's brands as well as after-sales services with a comprehensive suite of digital solutions. At the same time, Fuse empowers farmers to make the best decisions individually regarding their operations. In this way, it maximizes efficiency and profitability.

With the Fuse system, following are aimed:

  • Cost reduction,
  • Waste reduction,
  • Increase in productivity,
  • Resource saving,
  • Risk reduction

  • Minimization of seed and fertilizer input
  • Ensuring sowing precision
  • Improvement of field preparation

Hydraulic parts are produced in our factory in accordance with the Massey Ferguson brand.

What is Hydraulic?

The meaning of the word hydraulic is derived from the Latin word 'hydor' meaning water. This is because it is a branch of science that studies the mechanical properties of fluids. Therefore, incompressible fluids are used in this system. With the help of the pressurized fluid obtained, powerful movements and forces are produced.

What is Hydraulic System?

Said hydraulic system consists of elements that operate a mechanism by the transmission of pressurized fluid power.

What Does a Hydraulic System Do?

Fluid substances are not compressible substances. Therefore, hydraulic systems provide large forces to be obtained. Since air and gases are compressible materials, they are not preferred for generating large forces.

Usage Areas of Hydraulics

The usage areas of hydraulics are as follows:

  • Industrial areas
  • Energy production
  • Mining
  • Movable hydraulic tools
  • Maritime and shipping industry

Advantages of Hydraulic Systems

The advantages of the hydraulic system are:

  • Working pressures are at high levels. Therefore, they allow the acquisition of great powers.
  • The fluids used in the system cannot be compressed. In this way, they provide shock-free and vibration-free movement.
  • The safety valves in the system ensure the safe operation of the system.
  • They allow precise speed adjustment.
  • The parts of the system are long-lasting.
  • These systems are silent systems. In this way, they do not create an annoying noise.
  • It is suitable for speed adjustment during movement.

Disadvantages of the System

The disadvantages of the hydraulic system are as follows:

  • The fluids used are sensitive to air. If there is air in the fluid, it causes noise and vibration. It also makes it difficult to achieve regular speed.
  • The fluids used are sensitive to high temperatures. Therefore, the fluid temperature should not exceed 50 degrees.
  • The storability of hydraulic power is low.
  • The connections of the elements used in the system must be strong and at the same time impermeable. Therefore, the prices are higher.
